Once upon a time, there was an introverted girl whose aesthetics were to wear all black and had a hard time making friends.
Every day she would try to find a way to talk to people, but they always labeled her weird and odd cause because of how she acted when approaching them.
One day she freaked out in front of her classmates in front of the whole class when she tried to approach them. Because of that, people started whispering and talking behind her back. Because of that, she kept more to herself than before.
Until one day, someone from the class noticed someone needed help cause they dropped their books, and then they realized the creepy girl in black wasn't as weird and creepy as everyone made her out to be.
Scene One
I also needed to keep the location in mind for my actors. I wanted to film the scenes from one location all in one day. If I needed a different location, I'd do it on another day. I also wanted to keep different types of shots in mind when shooting each scene to bring out more of the emotion of the main character.
Scene Two
I couldn’t get as much detail in the first storyboard, so I went to the basic white paper. This scene was important to include because it allows the viewer to get more a perspective about other people around the main character to reemphasize what they feel about the character. I wanted to create a one-shot for this scene because I wanted to create the feeling that just because one scene happens, doesn’t mean it ends for the main character. It allows the viewer to be more empathetic towards her.
Completion
The requirements for this video had to be between 60 to 120 seconds. This restriction challenged me to make sure to tell a story without losing the message. While also including elements that help enhance the video.
